How to Know It's Not Just a Cold: Warning Signs in Children
Most colds in children resolve on their own within 5-7 days. But sometimes more serious illnesses hide behind the mask of a common cold, requiring immediate medical attention. For emigrant parents in Europe, it's especially important to know these signs to seek help in time.

- Slight weakness
- Sore throat when swallowing
- Child drinks, plays (though less actively)
- Condition improves by day 3-5
How long does normal cold last:
- Temperature: 2-3 days (rarely up to 5 days)
- Runny nose: 7-10 days
- Cough: up to 2-3 weeks
- General weakness: 3-5 days
